Message seems higher than it probably is. Its just that it usually turns out to be a daily routine, which is enough to make it seem like its all the time considering we do post everyday. :) I tell you though, I was not out to rip you off on the tranny. It was a comment I made off the cuff to Vik and it was distorted. I completely see where you are coming from and I too have been ripped off before. But I'm telling you straight up, I had no intentions of the like. My service did get rather poor for a period of time there, mainly with guages and shifters. Mainly guages. I simply got totally sick of doing them and that's my own fault. I blame no one else. Shifters were a different story, which had a lot more to do with people returning cores than it did with me being slack. Making up a shifter takes ~30 minutes and it is rather fun to drill and pound the living shit out of them in the fab process.... Kindof a stress reliever. :) I've stopped doing guages, and shifters are only sold when they are in hand. I've never had a problem with ECU's as it is a vital component of a car and without it, the car is useless. I also enjoy desoldering chips and soldering in sockets, burning programs, etc etc etc.. I've done so many that I take it as a challenge to see how quickly I can crank one out. :) So I've changed things around and now that Russell is handling the sales/distribution/installation/support for the ECU's, it has made my life much simpler and easier to keep sales going in a timely fashion. But I never fell off the face of the planet and left people hanging. I'm not like that.

But, back to us.. Send me your address in an email. I'll send a chip over to you. Use it with race fuel and take it to the track and try a side by side comparison.. Or even better, take it to the track. :) Or, you can do what you will with it. I'm sure you will be pleased with the results if you do try it.
